PURPOSE
The Coil Review
was founded by a business professional who through extensive research,
experience and advisement by noted industry professionals, has acquired knowledge
and insight on the subject of hair care for ethnic textures. This development has
been in motion throughout the span of a decade.
Recognizing the need for information
resources for individuals with natural coily and curly hair, Yardley Messeroux,
the founder of The Coil Review, vowed years ago that she would undertake the mission
to create a resource of reliable information on: products, salons, stylists and
methods of maintenance; while bringing light to the beauty of natural coily & curly
hair. June 2008, began the reality of her mission.
At The Coil Review you will
find helpful and healthful information on maintenance and styling for natural hair.
The Coil Review also features a directory of unique products that cater to the naturally
coily and curly; a natural hair salon directory; advisement from stylists, dermatologists,
and trichologists; and a specialized "product seek system" which will
allow readers to customize a product search, based on their specific needs (launching
soon). Additionally, The Coil Review features articles, which not only addresses
hair how-to’s and what to-do’s, but undertakes the social implications and personal
discoveries & experiences with natural hair.
