You do not need a blow dryer or any heat to stretch your coils. The are many techniques. My favorites are the banding method, and flat twisting. If you want patterns in your hair braid-outs, twist-outs and bantu knot-outs will suffice. However, it is very popular to part the hair in sections and do large two-strand twist over night and fluff your hair out in the morning. It may be a slight blow-out with a wide tooth comb + her hair is pretty long. Looks like a few years of growth. If you would a brush or comb that's teeth are close together, the more straighten the look will be. I think you should put products on your hair before and after the blow-out.
